This trilingual booklet (in Fr., Engl. and Arabic) presents 21 floor mosaics from the large collection of the Al-Ma‘arra Museum (in central Syria). They date from the 3rd to the 6th c. and most of them were found in Early Byzantine churches of the nearby countryside. The English translation is on pp. 19-32 and is followed by eight (C) photos.
