Yannos Kourayos, The Sanctuary of Apollo on the Despotiko Island (Athens 2009) in Greek. One of the lesser known archaeological sites in Greece is this archaic Sanctuary where Greeks worshiped god Apollo, goddess Artemis, and goddess Hestia, is in Despotiko, a uninhabited islet very close to Antiparos, in the Cyclades. The excavations, under the supervision of the archaeologist Yannos Kourayos, are ongoing.
