The publication Culture and Wetlands in the Mediterranean is the fruit of a synthetic interdisciplinary project, involving 31 scientists with different specialties. Each article presents an overview of one or more wetlands in the Mediterranean, examining human activity in interaction with the natural environment, from the prehistoric era to the modern.
