This book is the record of the 4th Symposium that was hold on board a ship as it sailed around the Adriatic, from Greece, via Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia to Italy (Ravenna and Venice) in June 2002. Held under the patronage of HAH the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and organized by the Religion, Science and Environment Committee it brought together about 250 scientists, environmentalists, religions leaders, opinion makers and media figures from around the world.
