A Catalog published to accompany an exhibition of some 200 masterpieces of gold and silver metalwork from a part of ancient Thrace (modern Bulgaria) featured spectacular archaeological finds from the two previous decades at six US museums, starting at the Saint Louis Museum in February 1998. Note that although the title is The Wealth of the Thracians, the exhibits presented cover a much longer period starting from the Neolithic and Chalcolithic treasures (5th-4th millennium) from Varna.
