Description
National Archaeological Museum of Athens (NAMA): Collections of Roman period photo 101. An athlete (or god, maybe Apollo?) with a broad ribbon around his head. Height of the marble statue 1.95 m. It was found on the island of Delos and it is considered a good copy of the Late Hellenistic-Early Greco-Roman period of a famous bronze original; a work of Polykleitos c. 430-420 BC.
