The resting place of Saint David Garejeli in the church of the Transfiguration of the Laura of St. David, in the Gareja Desert was opened in the summer of 2001. The results of the cleaning of the vault of the saint were published in this volume for the first time. Issues connected with the resting place of the saint are highlighted on the basis of the evidence found and juxtaposition of historical sources.
