Historical Archives of Macedonia vol. I The Ottoman Archive of the Vilayet of Thessaloniki 1695-1912, Ioannis Vasdravellis (ed.) (publications of the Etaireia Makedonikon Spoudon no 13, Thessaloniki 1952). From 337 codices found in the Archives 424 documents have been translated from the Ottoman language into Greek (chosen by the editor, from Code 1 up to Code 221) and 3 documents from the codices 223 and 229. It is a very important primary source for the Vilayet of Thessaloniki e.g. the whole of Macedonia as well as other parts of the Balkans under Ottoman rule. Contents: Προλεγόμενα [Prologue] pp. α΄-ι΄.
