Data
This is a rare book published in Constantinople in 1920 on the occasion of the celebration of the Hundred Years of the Supervising Committee of the Greek Schools of Neapolis (Nevşehir) in Cappadocia. The Committee was established in the Ottoman capital, where many Greeks of Neapolis (Nevşehir) and other Cappadocian towns and villages lived but they kept close ties with their motherland. Their main concern was the Greek education. Thus, although the subject of the book is the history of the Greek Orthodox Community of Nevşehir from 1718-20 to 1920, the greater part is dedicated to the schools pp. 40-86. Total pages 126 (20.50 x 14). >>>> See Texts in Accompanying Material: Neapolis-Nevşehir 1820-1920
