This is the 4th edition in Greek of the book: The Secrets of the Bosphorus by Ambassador Henry Morgenthau, Constantinople 1913-1916 (with 19 Illustrations) (Hutchinson & co., London [1918]) first published in London in 1918 (?) under the above title but without chronology and in New York in 1919: Ambassador Morgenthau's Story (Garden City, N.Y.: Doubleday). The first Greek edition was published in Istanbul –than Constantinople– in 1919. In Greece it was first published in 1986 by the publishing house Trohalia; a second edition came out by the same house in 1994 and this, the 3rd edition, revised and enriched with a few rare pictures, in 1998.

A recent publication came out in 2004 with the title: United States Diplomacy on The Bosphorus: The Diaries of Ambassador Morgenthau 1913-1916 (Taderon Press).
